Saya akan mengirim gambar2 contoh kemudian. Teknik menggunakannya: 1. Lekatkan Data card/USB pada komputer anda, biarkan sekurang2nya 3 minit untuk linux mengenal-pasti gadget anda; atau untuk melihat linux membaca gadget anda; taip pada terminal(gnome-terminal/etc):

tail /var/log/messages -f

2. Baru anda mulakan Linux Vodafone Mobile Connect Card. Ikut arahan2, untuk Celcom3G dialup-number: *99***1# login:(kosongkan) password: (kosongkan)

3. Selesai.

Lepas training Linux Super User di CSA, Linux sentiasa jadi pujaan. Setelah sejak jatuh cinta dengan Mac OS, kini cinta kepada linux kembali berputik. Cerita awalnya, aku kenal linux sejak belajar di UTM lagi, sejak v1.0 lagi. Mangsa waktu tu ialah HDD Bigfoot, kejap install kejap low level format(x2), tapi OK lagi sekarang. Untuk itu, aku akan mulakan tag linux, ia akan lebih kepada Desktop (sebab aku suka desktop, kalau cerita apache/kernel/servers korang cari tempat lain). OK, kita mulakan sekarang; apa perlu ada:

This is what I'm looking for. The complete communication device that support all communication technology yesterday tomorrow. You name it, Wi-fi, 3G, 2G, bluetooth, IrDa, SiP, blueberry.net, MS-exchange others.

It drive by OS Symbian v3, which is can go upgrade further new application to adapt new technology new environment (but still limit by hardware capabilities).

Blog tru Flickr, using Lifeblog@Nokia 6680

What you need here:

1. 3G mobile phone with Lifeblog(I'm using 6680)
2. Unlimited 3G Plan (I'm using Unlimited Celcom3G)
   
3. Flickr account (or Yahoo! account)
   
4. Weblog account (like Blogger)
   
5. That's all
   

Assuming your 3G UE already in great function; subscribing 3G account & Lifeblog insttalled. Then you must go to http://flickr.com/tools/lifeblog, and you will get instructions & password for your Lifeblog application. You have 2 choices; 1) Upload your Lifeblog pic to flickr and 2) Create new blog (your lifeblog pic) to your own weblog tru flickr.



For second method, you need to configure your weblog on your flickr account.



Now you can blog while you on mobile. Happy blogging.

SKYPE & GOOGLE talk on Nokia6680@celcom3G

Here more good apps, when you are using celcom3G Unlimited, you can skype& google-talk VOIP/chat with your friends. This applix at the moment only for Symbian V2 phone. If it available for Symbian V3 phone, should it works seemless using 3G & Wifi. Nice!!!!!

Some advise, dont use when you not Unlimited 3G user. Select your best operator, meaning in my case using bigger 3G coverage aka celcom3G@Malaysia.

These codes have been tested on a Nokia 6600:


1) *#06# - Get the Serial Number/IMEI.

structure of the IMEI :

XXXXXX XX XXXXXX X

TAC FAC SNR SP

· TAC = Type approval code
· FAC = Final assembly code
· SNR = Serial number
· SP = Spare

2) *#0000# - Get the SW version (e.g. V 5.27.0 / 28-06-04 /NHL-10 )

3) *#2820# - Get the Bluetooth (BT) device address

4) xx# - Quick contact access (xx = location number, e.g. : 17#)

5) When switching the phone on with the "ABC" key (pen) pressed, no
application is started, it's a "safeboot".


WARNING : here is the list of some dangerous codes; use them
with care, I'm not responsible for any damage ...

1) *#7370925538# (*#Res0Wallet#) - Deletes the code for the "wallet"
and erase all the content of the "wallet"

2) *#7780# - Reset to the original settings; some
informations are also deleted and need to be re-entered.

3) *#7370# - Soft format - this will resets all the phone
memory (like re-format a disk); make sure to have full battery
charged !

4) [Green]+[def3]+[*+] during a power on performs a hard format :
this will return the phone like you have received; make sure to
have full battery charged !

5) *#92702689# (WAR0ANTY) enters into the warranty menu -
this code doesn't work with all series 60 phone -.

More Firefox Tweaks : Reduce Memory Back Pages

Here some tweak I found at gHacks , this for people that don't use Back Button.

1. Open Firefox, type about:config and hit enter.
2. Fill in “browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers”, put 0 instead of the -1 setting. Enter.
   
3. Restart your browser.
