My machine still working on OSX 10.4.3 8F1099 with Xbench 69. No tuning jobs was done, still studying Bofor's tread at forum@osx86project.

More Firefox Tweaks : Reduce Memory Back Pages

Here some tweak I found at gHacks , this for people that don't use Back Button.

1. Open Firefox, type about:config and hit enter.
2. Fill in “browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers”, put 0 instead of the -1 setting. Enter.
   
3. Restart your browser.
